BlueCasting

"BlueCasting is a point-to-point transmission system which uses the world-standard BlueTooth networking platform.

When a user is within proximity of a BlueCast Server and makes their handset discoverable the BlueCast Server identifies their device via its BlueTooth ID [this is much like a phone number or an IP address so each device has a unique code]."
(Click the image to the left to see diagrams showing how
BlueCasting works)
BlueCasting points will be installed at each designated meeting place (pubs), then at the given time the server will look for all devices in the area with the RHE application installed, then send text files containing song lyrics to each device. After the 'sing-along' users will then be able to use the RHE application to connect, via bluetooth, to the BlueCasting server to send any photos they have taken during the sing-along.
